The Lanier Mansion Indiana State historic site and Little Grand Theatre Co. (here) present the Sweetheart Murder Mystery. This victorian style murder mystery is more than just another tourist event, it’s a live performance play set in the 1840’s. As the story unravels, the audience is invited to look for clues and figure out the mystery. You don't have to be a detective or a murder mystery buff to enjoy the entertainment. Just be there and enjoy the show at the Lanier Mansion.

The story:
Although Madison was a rough river town in the 1840s, people are shocked when a lovely Lady in Red is found dead on the private wharf of the richest man in town – Mr. James Lanier. Join in the fun and help us look for clues in at the Lanier Mansion’s first murder mystery. Light refreshments will be served. (source).

The event will be held on Feb. 9th, 2013, from 7 to 9 pm. The price is $15 per person. Attendance is limited, so make reservations by Feb. 5th, call (812) 273-4531 or email: afairchild@indianamuseum.org.
