The English Garden Room, located on the first floor, has a private entrance off the veranda at the back of the house away from the street. This room is also in the earliest part of the house cir.1833 with original woodwork, windows and fireplace. It has the most feminine decor made up of luscious pink roses, crèmes and greens. Accommodating a very comfortable antique queen bed, this room has a small private bath done in white-washed tongue-n-groove with a thick old marble slab floor and a tiled shower. Enjoy your own tea set and selection of gourmet teas within the room or on the veranda next to the garden. The English Garden Room has central air with the very warm and charming atmosphere of the old south.

The Federalist Room is located on the second story at the back of the home away from the street and is a part of the earliest structure cir.1833. It has a private entrance off the upper veranda which has an old fashion porch swing for two and individual wood rockers for a peaceful retreat with a great view of the historic neighborhood. The décor is the most masculine in the home with wall paper having pastoral scenes of early couples hiding horses. A large crocheted portrait of George Washington is spotlighted over the fireplace. This room is outfitted with antique furniture, fireplace, a comfortable queen bed, small private bath with shower, and wash stand lavatory. The Americana Federalist Room with central air conditioning and ceiling fan, will remind you of our countries patriotic roots and the strong independent stances of our founding fathers.

Classical Antiquity is a very large room located on the second floor at the front of the house off the grand stairway cir.1853. The tall ceilings, beautiful woodwork and fireplace have pre-civil war elegance. The room décor transforms you to the antiquities of the Roman empire having a double soaking tub columned like a Roman bath and the bathroom wall reminiscing classic ruins. This room has a Baroque style king sized bed with a matching daybed. The Classical Antiquity room is for romantics and people who want only the best.

The Victorian is a large room cir.1853 located on the second floor at the head of the grand stairs. It has a private door on to the upper veranda providing an ideal spot for lounging and reading. The décor consists of large floral wallpaper reflecting the late Victorian time frame, antiques, fireplace, elegant woodwork, king sized canopy bed and charming window seat for napping or daydreaming. The claw foot tub & hand held shower add the final touch of charm to a memorable stay.
